(PRESS RELEASE) PARIS, 6-Nov-2023 — /EuropaWire/ — Kering (EPA: KER), a French-based multinational corporation specializing in luxury goods, continues its growth and development strategy with the recent acquisition of a prestigious High Jewelry workshop renowned for its exceptional craftsmanship. Situated in close proximity to Place Vendôme in Paris, this strategic move bolsters Maison Boucheron’s production capabilities within its historic High Jewelry workshop.

The newly acquired workshop comprises four distinguished companies: Blondeau, Belter, Chanson, and FG Développement, which have been collaborating under one roof since 2017. Together, these entities bring together a team of approximately sixty skilled artisans, including CAD designers, jewelers, lapidaries, setters, and polishers, all integral to the meticulous creation of High Jewelry masterpieces.

Founded by Cédric Gangemi, a young and accomplished French entrepreneur with a background in jewelry craftsmanship, this group represents the union of artistry and innovation. Mr. Gangemi’s journey from working at Chanson and Blondeau to taking over and nurturing these companies has culminated in this strategic partnership with Maison Boucheron.

The integration of these talented teams into Maison Boucheron, effective as of October 31st, 2023, marks a significant step in enriching the Maison’s High Jewelry collections. They will collaborate closely with the longstanding workshop located at 26 Place Vendôme, breathing life into Maison Boucheron’s legacy of craftsmanship and innovation.

This acquisition underscores Boucheron’s commitment to preserving and enhancing its heritage of crafting exquisite and timeless High Jewelry pieces.

“The acquisition of this High Jewelry workshop writes a new chapter in the history of the Maison. It will reinforce the production capacity of Boucheron’s historical workshop on Place Vendôme, enabling us to meet the increasing demand of our clients while maintaining the excellence of our craftsmanship” commented Hélène Poulit-Duquesne, CEO of Maison Boucheron.
