(PRESS RELEASE) LYON, 25-Apr-2019 — /EuropaWire/ — Rhônexpress has just announced the 3 winners of its U-X 2019 startup challenge. The first prize has gone to the Atlantide, which is an urban exploration game that relies on geolocation systems. The second prize has been awarded to the Fly me to the Food, which helps passengers order a meal by using the Wi-Fi while traveling with Rhônexpress that can later on be picked up in the restaurant at the airport or conveniently delivered to the boarding gate. The third spot is for Flyerz, which is an AI based collaborative platform that helps travelers share information about local cultural events.
This is the 2nd edition of the challenge and 9 teams have been nominated out of the 12 proposals submitted in total. The projects proposed are in the fields of of mobility, travel, leisure, tourism and in general areas where the customer experience can be further improved.
The Rhônexpress Innovative U-X challenge is part of Rhônexpress’ strategy for innovation and continuous improvement of the customer service.
The awards ceremony was held on Thursday, April 11, 2019 at the Skyroom on the 27th floor of the Oxygen Tower, in the heart of Part-Dieu district and Lyon World Trade Centre.
Rhônexpress is a tram-train service in Lyon, France that connects the central part of the city with the Lyon-Saint Exupéry Airport and the TGV train station.
