Outokumpu Oyj repurchased 267,107 own shares as Part of EUR 50 Million Buyback Program

(IN BRIEF) Outokumpu finalized its share repurchase program on February 23, 2024, acquiring a total of 267,107 of its own shares across various trading venues. The company’s buyback initiative, initiated on November 29, 2023, aimed to repurchase a maximum of 11 million shares, with approval from the Board of Directors under the authorization of the Annual General Meeting, allocating up to EUR 50 million for the program. Following these transactions, Outokumpu now holds 32,243,502 treasury shares.

Outokumpu announced a share buyback program of a maximum of 11 million shares on November 29, 2023. The Board of Directors approved a share buyback program of up to EUR 50 million under the authorization of the Annual General Meeting. The program will end no later than on March 21, 2024.

After the disclosed transactions, Outokumpu holds 32,243,502 treasury shares.
