GTT to design tanks of Liquefied Natural Gas Carrier for Japanese ship-owner Nippon Yusen Kaisha

(PRESS RELEASE) PARIS, 24-Apr-2019 — /EuropaWire/ — GTT selected to deliver tank design of a Liquefied Natural Gas Carrier (LNGC) for the Japanese ship-owner Nippon Yusen Kaisha (NYK). The order was made by Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries (HSHI).

The LNGC will be equipped with GTT’s Mark III Flex membrane containment system, which offers a capacity of 174,000 m3. The vessel is scheduled to be delivered by the end of 2022.
