GTT to design the LNG tanks of new 174,000 m3 LNG carrier (LNGC) for the Korean shipyard Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries

PARIS, 30-Jul-2018 — /EuropaWire/ — GTT has received a new order notification from the Korean shipyard Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries (HSHI) for the tank design of a new 174,000 m3 LNG carrier (LNGC), to be built on behalf of an Asian ship owner. The vessel’s delivery is expected in Q4 2020.

The LNG tanks of the vessel will be equipped with the proven Mark III Flex containment system developed by GTT.
