Škoda Auto Renews Commitment as Official Partner of Prague Pride Festival, Championing Diversity and Equality

(IN BRIEF) Czech car manufacturer Škoda Auto continues its partnership as the official sponsor of Prague Pride Festival for the second year, reaffirming its commitment to diversity and equal rights for the LGBT+ community. The festival showcased over 100 events celebrating inclusivity and exploring the impact of traditions on queer lives. A highlight was the presence of the Škoda Enyaq Coupé Respectline, an all-electric vehicle adorned with rainbow hues, symbolizing unity and respect for human rights. Škoda’s dedication to diversity is woven into its corporate strategy, reflected in initiatives like the Škoda Proud network. Since 2019, the company has supported the European Diversity Charter and the Czech Pride Business Forum, both promoting diversity and inclusion.

The Prague Pride Festival featured a diverse program of over 100 events, performances, and conferences aimed at promoting inclusivity and equality for the LGBT+ community. This year’s theme explored the impact of traditions on the lives of queer individuals.

A standout feature of the festival was the presence of the Škoda Enyaq Coupé Respectline, an all-electric vehicle, symbolizing unity and human rights. The car, adorned with a white body representing harmony on Earth, transitioned into a vibrant display of rainbow colors, emphasizing the diversity of life. The vehicle participated in the Rainbow Parade and will continue to make appearances at other events.

Škoda Auto’s commitment to diversity and inclusivity is deeply embedded in its corporate strategy, highlighted in the Next Level – Škoda Strategy 2030 and Diversity Strategy 2030.
