(PRESS RELEASE) MLADÁ BOLESLAV, 20-Jan-2023 — /EuropaWire/ — ŠKODA AUTO, one of the world’s oldest car makers and Czech Republic largest private company part of Volkswagen Group, has launched the Škodaverse (skoda-auto.com), a virtual platform dedicated to the company’s WEB3 activities and eMobility. The platform allows users to explore Škoda’s eMobility offerings, including the Enyaq Coupé RS iV and the Karoq, in augmented and virtual reality, take test drives, and customize the look of the vehicles. The platform also includes the Škoda Fabia, which users can explore using the 3D visualizer and create their own look, choose their style and select the interior.

One of the most exciting features of the Škodaverse is the NFT gallery, where users can purchase and collect unique digital assets, including a collection celebrating the first Tour de France Femme, designed by Ilona Polanski, and a 3D sketch in the Škoda Modern Solid language, transformed into a beautiful NFT by Štěpán Král. The company is also riding history with this NFT collection, showcasing its dedication to cycling culture.

In addition to this, the Škodaverse also includes a dedicated Twitter community at @skodaverse, where users can follow the latest news and share their experiences with others. The company is also using this platform to engage with younger customers and provide them with an interactive and immersive experience.

The platform also includes the Škoda Vision GT study, which was primarily designed for the gaming and digital world of the future. A physical model was created using 3D printing, but the heritage and skilled craftsmanship of the Škoda Design department were also important.

The company is very excited to launch the Škodaverse, a platform that allows it to showcase its eMobility offerings and explore new technologies in an innovative way. Škoda believes that the virtual world is the future, and is excited to be at the forefront of this movement. With the Škodaverse, the automaker is not only giving its customers an interactive and immersive experience, but is also providing a platform that allows them to connect with its brand and each other.

The Škodaverse is a clear indication of the company’s commitment to the future and its willingness to explore new technologies. The virtual platform is a game-changer for the car industry and we look forward to seeing how it evolves in the coming months. With the increasing popularity of virtual reality, augmented reality and NFTs, the Škodaverse is a perfect example of how companies can use these technologies to create a unique and engaging customer experience.
