Digi Communications N.V. Announces that the offer of the Company’s Romanian subsidiary was designated winner of the auction organised for the allocation of certain radio frequency entitlements

(PRESS RELEASE) BUCHAREST, Romania, 24-Nov-2021— /EuropaWire/ — Digi Communications N.V. (The Company) would like to inform the market and its investors that on November, 23, 2021 the Romanian Authority for Telecommunications (ANCOM) finalised the auction which began on October 11, 2021, for the allocation of the frequency rights in the 800 MHz, 2600 MHz, 3400- 3600 MHz bands.

ANCOM designated RCS&RDS as winner of the frequency rights in the 800 MHz (1 lot 2×5 MHz), 2600 MHz (4 lots 2×5 MHz – FDD) and 2600 MHz (1 lot 15 MHz – TDD). The value of the frequency rights is of EUR 42,700,000.

The Company welcomes ANCOM’s decision which will allow RCS&RDS to continue the expansion of its business on the telecommunication market in Romania, in order to provide high quality, technologically advanced and accessible services.
