RAL Space astrophysicist Chris Pearson began the day with a talk on space science, before the visitors enjoyed a planetarium show, a constellation challenge and an earth observations workshop.
The event was organised by RAL Space and Catapult, and also featured the launch of the new UK National Satellite Test Facility art competition.
