COLOGNE, 22-7-2015 — /EuropaWire/ — The Supervisory Board of TÜV Rheinland AG has appointed Vincent Giesue Furnari as a new member of the Executive Board with effect from August 1, 2015. He is to succeed the retiring Ulrich Fietz (64) as Chief Financial and Controlling Officer of TÜV Rheinland AG with effect from September 1, 2015.
Ulrich Fietz joined TÜV Rheinland in 1998, and became a member of the Executive Board of TÜV Rheinland AG in 2002. He is stepping down from the Executive Board of his own accord. The Supervisory Board extended its thanks to him: “Ulrich Fietz has given outstanding service to TÜV Rheinland. He played a key role in initiating the plans for his succession, and has helped to bring them to fruition by stepping down.”
Vincent Giesue Furnari (46) joins TÜV Rheinland from SGS Group Germany, where he became Managing Director in December 2010.
