Gian Franco Kasper becomes senior vice-president; Raffaele Chiulli becomes vice-president.
LAUSANNE, 28-4-2015 — /EuropaWire/ — SportAccord is happy to announce that Raffaele Chiulli, President of the Union International Motonautique (UIM) has been elevated to the position of Vice-President of the SportAccord Council after the recently-concluded SportAccord Convention World Sport and Business Summit in Sochi, Russia. Mr. Chiulli, who is also the President of the Association of (IOC) Recognised International Federations (ARISF), takes the position of Gian Franco Kasper, President of the International Ski Federation (FIS) and the Association of International Olympic Winter Sports (AIOWF), who will now be Senior Vice-President of the SportAccord Council.
Commenting on the SportAccord Convention World Sport and Business Summit, Mr. Chiulli said, “The Convention this year brought us many targets and even more. As a stakeholder, we could not have asked for any better and look forward to growing the Convention even more in the years to come.”
