UK: Aviva adds Minifleet and professional indemnity to its online trading platform, Fast Trade

18-10-2012 — /europawire.eu/ —  As part of its aim to be number one for brokers online, Aviva, the UK’s largest insurer, is adding two further products to its online etrading platform, Fast Trade.

Minifleet and professional indemnity join Fast Trade’s 13 commercial auto-rated products online enabling brokers to quote and buy in minutes, with full cycle functionality from quote to renewal, instant access to documentation and a fast-tracked referral process within one hour.

Sam Hudson, intermediary operations director, Aviva, said: “When we asked for feedback from brokers 70% said that Aviva was their preferred insurer for placing SME business online. That’s a great response and we couldn’t be more delighted. It’s a clear indication that we are giving brokers the sort of products and services they want online.

“The commercial online market is continuing to grow and we want to be at the forefront, constantly evolving our commercial online products, most recently adding minifleet and professional indemnity to Fast Trade’s suite of policies.

“Minifleet is our first motor policy on Fast Trade and follows a very successful pilot. It is available now and offers the flexibility to quote for 3-12 vehicles on either a fleet or NCD basis, and includes RAC breakdown cover.

“Professional indemnity launches later this month and is suitable for a wide range of professions, offering an indemnity limit of up to £5million.

“We are committed to making sure we can offer brokers as broad a range as possible of online products through Fast Trade that do all of the things that brokers need to help them offer their clients exceptional policies that can be transacted quickly.”
