Top European women’s national team competition to be played in Sweden in July
14-2-2013 — /europawire.eu/ — Ticket sales for the 2013 UEFA Women’s EURO 2013, to be played between 10 and 28 July in Sweden, will be launched today. Tickets for UEFA’s flagship women’s national team competition can bought online from 12:00CET via UEFA.com.
Member of the UEFA Executive Committee and Chairwoman of the UEFA Women’s Football Committee Karen Espelund said: “The ticket sales launch is a key moment in the run-up to the UEFA Women’s EURO 2013. This competition is the jewel in the crown of European women’s football. I look forward to impressive turnouts and a great family festival of football at UEFA’s key national team tournament this summer.
President of the Swedish Football Association (SvFF) Karl-Erik Nilsson said: “We look forward to welcoming big crowds of football fans from Sweden and abroad to contribute to a great celebration of women’s football in July in Sweden. The tournament is for everyone and the affordable ticket prices reflect this.”
The prices are:
Adults:
Category 1: 200 SEK (around EUR23)*
Category 2: 150 SEK (around EUR17)*
Category 3: 100 SEK (around EUR11.50)*
Youth tickets (16 years and below): 50 SEK (around 5.75EUR*) in all categories

Follow-Your-Team ticket packages are also available. These include a ticket for each group-stage match of the chosen national team and can be bought in three different categories:

Category 1: 450 SEK (around EUR52)*
Category 2: 335 SEK (around EUR39)*
Category 3: 225 SEK (around EUR26)*

All tickets will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Each applicant may apply for a maximum of six tickets per match in one price category.
