LONDON, 13-4-2015 — /EuropaWire/ — The British Safety Council has today announced the names of the International Safety Award winning organisations shortlisted for the sector awards.
The winners of 11 sector awards will be announced by Lynda Armstrong OBE, Chair of Trustees, and Neal Stone, Acting Chief Executive of the British Safety Council, at the International Safety Awards Gala Dinner taking place at the Grosvenor House in London on Friday 24 April 2015.
This year 515 organisations achieved a pass or higher in our long-standing prestigious International Safety Award scheme. Of these winning organisations, 27 have been shortlisted by our panel of adjudicators as deserving candidates for our sector awards.
Neal Stone, Acting Chief Executive of the British Safety Council, congratulated those who have been shortlisted.

The International Safety Awards scheme, now in its 57th year, celebrates organisations from around the world that have demonstrated to the satisfaction of the scheme’s independent judges their commitment to preventing workplace injuries and work-related ill health during the 2014 calendar year.
