(PRESS RELEASE) PARIS, 20-Dec-2021 — /EuropaWire/ — SUEZ Group, a French multinational company with over 160 years of expertise in water and waste management, has announced the completion of the divestment of two landfills and five transfer stations, collectively post collection assets, located in the area of Sydney, Australia to Cleanaway Waste Management Limited (ASX: CWY), an Australian waste management company.
The closing of this transaction initially agreed on April 05th 2021 follows the approval of the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission on December 8th, 2021. The total amount of the disposal stands at 501 million Australian dollars.
