(PRESS RELEASE) PARIS, 16-Mar-2023 — /EuropaWire/ — On March 17, Pierre Pauliac will replace Maximilien Pellegrini in the Group Executive Committee, as Chief Operating Officer in charge of the Water division. He will head the global team that provide our public and industrial & commercial clients innovative and resilient services and solutions for drinking water, as well as treatment and recycling of waste water.

After his first career steps in project management at Naval Group, Technip and Alstom Hydro, from 1999 to 2010, in France and abroad (Chile, Sudan), Pierre Pauliac joined the SUEZ Group in 2010. He reorganized the engineering and construction activities of Degrémont in the Middle East, before heading up all water and waste activities for SUEZ in the region. As of 2019, Pierre has been CEO of Treatment Infrastructures (TI), SUEZ global engineering, procurement and construction activities.

His successor at Treatment Infrastructures will be announced in the coming weeks.

Pierre Pauliac replaces Maximilien Pellegrini who is leaving the group to take a new role as CEO of a leading company in facility management.

At the same time, David Lamy is appointed CEO of the Waste France business unit. He will lead the French recycling and recovery activities.

David started his career at SUEZ in 2000 within its Argentinian affiliate Aguas Argentinas, before joining the Group finance department. He was appointed CFO of the waste business in Poland, and then of the Australia businesses (2006-2015), before becoming CEO of the Australia and New Zealand Water business for the following 5 years. David returned to France in 2020 as chief transformation officer, in charge of the carve-out of the new SUEZ perimeter. David has recently been heading up strategy and sustainable development.

I am very pleased to appoint Pierre Pauliac to the Executive Committee. His wealth of experience will be key to leverage our new operating model and the future Water division, in order to create value for our customers, while differentiating from the competition. The nomination of David Lamy as CEO of our French recycling and recovery activities further increases our focus on our public and private customers. Both appointments demonstrate the strength in depth of SUEZ teams. I warmly thank Maximilien Pellegrini for his long contribution to the development of SUEZ, in particular during the transition to our new chapter. I wish him every success in his new entrepreneurial endeavors.
