Solidarity or Radicalisation? The Challenge Ahead for Monday’s Global Education Event in Paris

PARIS, 28-Nov-2016 — /EuropaWire/ — One year after the Paris attacks, an impressive gathering of thinkers, doers, innovators and implementers are coming together to imagine what the future of Global Education should look like if we want to create a world of greater trust, respect and tolerance. Taking a critical look at what Global Education can achieve, what works and what could be done differently, participants at the GENE 2016 Global Education: Towards a World of Solidarity will attempt to move the educational discourse forward. Can the Sustainable Development Goals bring about a more equitable world? How can we create the change we want to see in the world? Join us! The event will be livestreamed via www.facebook.com/GENEGlobalEducation and participants and organisers are tweeting at #GENEParis

This event is organised with financial support from the European Commission.
