LONDON, 23-12-2015 — /EuropaWire/ — Sky Sports cameras will be back at the Stade Olympique Yves-du-Manoir on 17 January for the fixture with Scarlets before following the Parisian team to Glasgow for a tricky away fixture the following week. Carter’s Racing 92 currently sit top of Pool 3 but are under pressure from the chasing pack of Northampton Saints and Glasgow Warriors. The Kiwi World Cup winner has amassed 15 points from his two outings in Europe and was instrumental in the impressive home win over Saints last month.
Other highlights from rounds five and six include three huge clashes in Pool 2 where every team has a realistic chance of progressing to the knockout stages. On Friday 15 January the Ospreys host Clermont Auvergne before Exeter Chiefs travel to Bordeaux-Begles the next day. Sky Sports viewers will also be able to see the in-form Saracens finish the group stages away at Toulouse.
Analysis and commentary will be provided by World Cup winner Will Greenwood, Scott Quinnell, Ieuan Evans, Alan Quinlan and Stuart Barnes.
Sky Sports Head of Rugby Union, Gus Williamson said: “The European Champions and Challenge Cup have already provided some fantastic rugby for Sky Sports viewers. I can’t wait for them to get back under way after the Christmas break and look forward to bringing fans the tries, tackles and kicks that will decide the pool winners and best runners up.”
Sky Sports viewers can enjoy another huge year of live rugby in 2016 with action every month of the year including England and Ireland’s Autumn Internationals, Guinness PRO12, French Top14, HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series and all the best action from the Southern Hemisphere including The Rugby Championship, Super 15 and the home nations summer tours.
