On 9 September, Proximus received the MS@Work 2015 Award. The Award was presented by the National Belgian Multiple Sclerosis League as recognition for the positive policy Proximus pursues with regard to employing people with Multiple Sclerosis (MS).
BRUSSELS, 14-9-2015 — /EuropaWire/ — Proximus was nominated by Katrien and Katleen, two of its employees with MS who despite of their illness have managed to continue working thanks to the support of their colleagues and Proximus.
As a company, Proximus is very proud of this award. The company attaches great importance to diversity in all its facets and to the well-being of its employees. This also means that colleagues who have the misfortune of being struck by an illness and who want to remain active, can count on the necessary flexibility at work (part-time work regime, adapted job content, etc.). In addition, employees can rely on an extensive medical plan and on the expertise of its social unit to look for solutions when things go less well privately or professionally.
Proximus will donate the cash prize of 5,000 euros associated with this award to ‘Move to Sport’, the organizers of the annual Walk for MS.
