Solvay Supports Pantys in Expanding Verified Menstrual Health Initiatives for Vulnerable Communities

(IN BRIEF) Solvay and Pantys have agreed to a new three-year partnership that will expand their work in menstrual health, inclusion and verified social impact. Building on a collaboration that began in 2017, the partnership connects Solvay’s sustainable chemistry and Amni Soul Eco® textile technology with Pantys’ reusable, clinically tested underwear for people with menstrual or incontinence needs. Solvay’s funding will help Pantys grow donation and education programs for vulnerable communities, while the companies introduce a social credits framework to measure concrete improvements in daily life. These credits will reflect outcomes such as improved school attendance during menstruation, more time for work or study, and better health and well-being. The impact will be measured through the W+ Standard developed by WOCAN, independently verified, and registered on the S&P Global registry. Pantys expects to reach around 7,000 people and generate 40,000 credits in 2026, with plans to expand to more than 70,000 people and up to 450,000 credits by 2028.

(PRESS RELEASE) BRUSSELS, 29-May-2026 — /EuropaWire/ — Solvay and Pantys are entering a new phase of collaboration with a three-year agreement aimed at widening access to menstrual health solutions, supporting inclusion, and introducing a more transparent way to quantify social progress. The renewed partnership is designed to move beyond product innovation alone by connecting sustainable materials, community programs, and independently verified social credits that reflect measurable improvements in people’s everyday lives.

The collaboration between the two companies dates back to 2017 and has focused on combining Solvay’s expertise in advanced and sustainable chemistry with Pantys’ work in Femtech apparel. Pantys creates reusable, clinically tested underwear for people managing menstruation or incontinence, with products developed to support comfort, dignity, health and environmental responsibility. Solvay contributes through Amni Soul Eco®, a technology used in more sustainable, high-performance textiles.

Through the expanded agreement, Solvay will provide financial support to help Pantys increase the reach of its social programs. These initiatives will include donations of products and educational activities for vulnerable communities, helping address practical barriers that can affect school attendance, work participation, health, confidence and day-to-day mobility for people experiencing menstrual or incontinence-related challenges.

A key feature of the new partnership is the launch of a social credits model linked to Pantys’ community impact work. These credits are verified units that represent real-life benefits, such as a person being able to attend school while menstruating, having more time available for work or study, or experiencing improvements in health and well-being. The model is intended to give companies and stakeholders a clearer, more accountable way to evaluate and support social impact.

The impact generated through the program will be assessed using the W+ Standard created by WOCAN and reviewed by independent third parties. To strengthen transparency and traceability, the credits will be recorded on the S&P Global registry. This structure is designed to provide credible documentation of the outcomes achieved and help create a scalable framework for future investment in social impact initiatives.

Pantys expects the program to reach around 7,000 people and generate 40,000 social credits in 2026. Over the following years, the initiative is expected to grow substantially, with a target of reaching more than 70,000 people and generating up to 450,000 credits by 2028.

“At Solvay, we believe industry should deliver tangible benefits for people and society. Through our partnership with Pantys, we are combining essential chemistry with inclusive solutions while also helping bring more rigor, transparency and scale to how social impact is measured and valued,” said Philippe Kehren, CEO of Solvay in Latin America and Global President of the Coatis Business Unit.

Emily Ewell, CEO and Co-founder of Pantys, said the agreement opens a new chapter for Pantys and for corporate investment in social impact. She said the company has spent years building meaningful impact for women on the ground, and now has a pathway to certify that impact, scale it and bring more partners into the effort.

By linking sustainable textile technology with verified social outcomes, Solvay and Pantys aim to create a model that supports both practical health needs and broader inclusion. The partnership reflects growing demand for social impact initiatives that can be clearly measured, independently verified and expanded across communities where access to menstrual and incontinence solutions remains limited.
