10-6-2013 — /europawire.eu/ — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has awarded Fugro Roadware a multi-year contract for Automated Pavement Data Collection. The contract consists of automatically collecting pavement data on nearly 27,000 miles of state-owned highways annually including right-of-way and pavement surface video logging, as well as inventory and analysis of pavement distress for all of the Pennsylvania state-owned mainline highway system and 1,750 miles of local federal-aid routes.
