WARSAW, Poland, 8-8-2014 — /EuropaWire/ — Netia SA (“Netia” or “Company”) (WSE: NET), Poland’s largest alternative provider of fixed-line telecommunications services, announced today that:
1. Mr. Tomasz Szopa, Residential Market General Manager and member of the Management Board, resigned on July 31, 2014 from the position of member of the Company’s Management Board with immediate effect and he will continue to serve as Residential Market General Manager.
2. Mr. Tom Ruhan, Chief Legal and Acquisition Officer and member of the Management Board, today resigned from his position with immediate effect. Mr. Ruhan spent eleven years in Netia, including eight years serving on the Company’s Management Board.
Netia’s CEO Adam Sawicki thanked Mr. Tom Ruhan for his valuable contribution in managing the Company over the past years, much of which has happened during the time of creating the Polish telecoms market and related market regulation changes.
