MOSCOW, 07-Apr-2016 — /EuropaWire/ — MAYKOR was rated No. 10 in the ranking of IT service providers according to Kommersant Money magazine. The company retained its position from the previous period without experiencing reduced revenues following an IT market under the influence of the crisis.
The Russian IT market in 2015 shrank by 38% and showed zero growth in rubles. “All year the industry was involved in stormy and dramatic activities – new rules to the game were prepared, and market players tried to somehow influence their content,” notes the ranking’s authors.
Sergey Sulgin, President of MAYKOR, also commented on year-end results for the company: “Market sobering came back in 2014. So in 2015 we had no time for business experiments, the main issues were to maintain profitability and to secure contracts with the company for several years ahead. Together with the program to increase internal efficiency, those actions allowed us to survive another crisis year in relative stability.”
