PARIS, 3-9-2014 — /EuropaWire/ — Kering announces that Christophe Mélard will be leaving his position as Sergio Rossi President and CEO, effective September 1st 2014, to follow new professional challenges outside Kering Group.
Christophe Mélard had joined Kering Group in 2005 as YSL Beauté CFO and Roger&Gallet President. In 2009, he has been appointed Sergio Rossi President and CEO.
The name of his successor will be announced in due course. During the transition, Marco Bizzarri, CEO of Kering “Luxury – Couture and Leather Goods” division, will take direct responsibility of the brand.
Kering thanks Christophe Mélard for his commitment during his tenure in the Group.
