Nuremberg, Germany, 13-6-2014 — /EuropaWire/ — On 16-18 June, GfK and E-Commerce Europe will be presenting new insights on the challenges and opportunities for global e-commerce, as part of the opening keynote speech for the Global E-Commerce Summit in Barcelona. In addition, E-Commerce Europe will be launching their latest E-Commerce Europe B2C Report 2014.
The event will also see the announcement of the winners for the European E-Commerce Awards for the “Pure Player Award” (players with only online stores) and the “Multi-Channel Award” (players with online and physical stores).
GfK was commissioned to compile the long list of nominees for these two awards, benchmarking all contenders against their ShopExperience Audit. GfK’s audit assesses performance from orientation to fulfillment and includes 30 dimensions and over 400 checkpoints.
From this long list, GfK then further refined the nominees down to five shortlisted players for each award – the winner for each being judged by a panel on the opening day of the summit.
