THE HAGUE, 16-Apr-2018 — /EuropaWire/ — The former member of parliament and mayor of Eindhoven Rob van Gijzel joins the Dutch Blockchain Coalition as a representative towards Dutch government, administration and industry. His goal is to accelerate the implementation of Blockchain applications in The Netherlands. NWO is involved as partner within the Dutch Blockchain Coalition. The coalition is an initiative of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate.
The introduction of large scale applications requires executives to gain insight into decision making process needed to implement Blockchain technology, and the strategic opportunities offered by Blockchain technology. Van Gijzel will actively inform leadership on both issues.
