(PRESS RELEASE) LONDON, 15-Feb-2019 — /EuropaWire/ — Vodafone Group Plc competitive tender process for the statutory audit contract of the Group has been concluded with Ernst & Young LLP announced as the winner.
Vodafone Group Board approved the appointment of Ernst & Young LLP following the completion of the audit of the Group’s accounts for the year ending 31 March 2019.
Ernst & Young LLP appointment will be subject to the approval by shareholders at the Annual General Meeting.
PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP is presently the Vodafone Group’s auditors for the current financial year and did not participate in the tender given the matters disclosed in the Group’s press release of 21 December 2018.
