26-4-2013 — /europawire.eu/ — The co-operation negotiations that started on 07.02.2013 in ALSTOM Finland Oy’s Thermal Services business unit, a provider of industrial and power plant solutions, have been concluded.
As a result of the co-operation negotiations 45 employees will be made redundant within Thermal Services’s Plant Service segment. The co-operation process concerned all employee groups within the Plant Service segment. The starting point for negotiations concerned temporary or permanent lay offs of max 60 persons.
The redundancies will take place immediately.
The negotiations that now have been concluded are not affecting other entities within Thermal Services Finland, like the turbine & generator service or the air quality control systems service.
