TREVISO, 16-Jul-2018 — /EuropaWire/ — Edizione S.r.l. (“Edizione”) has completed the acquisition of a 29.9% stake in Cellnex Telecom S.A. (“Cellnex”) from Abertis Infrastructuras S.A. The transaction has been executed through the newly established company ConnecT S.p.A. (“ConnecT”) for a price of 1,489 million Euros. Goldman Sachs has acted as financial advisor in the acquisition

ConnecT is fully controlled by Sintonia S.p.A., a sub-holding company wholly owned by Edizione. Edizione is one of the largest Italian holding companies with equity investments mainly in the following sectors: infrastructure and mobility services, food and beverage, textiles and clothing, real estate and agriculture.
The investment in Cellnex diversifies Edizione investment portfolio, both in terms of size, sector and geographical presence. Cellnex represents a longterm strategic asset with important growth prospects, also thanks to the
quality of its top management and to the vision of its CEO, Mr. Tobias Martínez.
