COLOMBES, 01-Aug-2017 — /EuropaWire/ — Arkema announces the appointment of Beatriz Mendez as Vice President of Goods & Services Procurement for the Group, effective 1st August 2017.
Beatriz Mendez, a 45 year old Spanish national, is a graduate of both ETSII Higher Industrial Engineering School in Madrid and Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Techniques Avancées (ENSTA) in Paris. She also holds degrees from Institut Français du Pétrole and IAE Paris-La Sorbonne.
She has close to twenty years’ professional experience in Procurement and Supply Chain.
She began her career with ENUSA (a company specializing in the Spanish nuclear sector) in 1997, before joining RENAULT-NISSAN in 1999 where she held regional and later global management positions within the group’s Procurement Division.
She joined LAFARGE in 2008, and in 2011 was appointed Procurement Director for France.
In 2013, she became Executive Director for Procurement, Logistics and Supplier Quality at GENERAL ELECTRIC Power Conversion.
