HELSINKI, 15-5-2015 — /EuropaWire/ — Ahlstrom, a global high performance fiber-based materials company, has sold 2,000,000 shares in Munksjö Oyj for approximately EUR 20.4 million. Ahlstrom will book a capital gain of approximately EUR 10 million from the transaction in its second-quarter 2015 financial accounts.
According to Ahlstrom’s knowledge 400,000 shares valued at approximately EUR 4.08 million were sold to AC Invest Five B.V. and 125,000 shares valued at approximately EUR 1.28 million to Viknum AB. Both entities are Ahlstrom Corporation’s related parties.
Following the sale of shares, Ahlstrom’s shareholding in Munksjö is 1,300,981 shares, representing 2.55% of the total shares and votes.
