(PRESS RELEASE) BRUSSELS, 28-Jan-2022 — /EuropaWire/ — Ageas, a Belgian multinational insurance company and the country’s largest insurer, has announced the company won a sustainability award in recognition of its sustainable insurance solutions from Capital Finance International (CFI.co), a print journal and online resource reporting on business, economics and finance.
The award reflects the cumulative impact of many different sustainability initiatives including: Ageas’s strong pledge to place sustainability at the centre of the decision making process; the Group’s four-pillar focus on product innovation, responsible investing, high-quality employment and reduction of greenhouse gas emissions; and the intention to increase economic and societal value for more than 40 million customers with special attention being paid to ageing, health, wellbeing and financial literacy.
The Group’s historical strengths in sustainable real estate and ESG infrastructure projects were also highlighted as was the commitment to inclusivity, diversity, and continuous learning.
