OSLO, 12-Jul-2016 — /EuropaWire/ — AF Gruppen’s subsidiary in southern Sweden, AF Bygg Syd, has been appointed general contractor by VA Syd for the construction of a new mechanical purification plant for Sjölunda sewage treatment plant in Malmö.
The contract includes the design and installation of a new mechanical purification plant and sand treatment plant co-located in a new building. The turnkey contract includes extensive ground and foundation work, construction, engineering and process work, electrical work and control systems and plumbing.
The work starts with the design in August 2016 and the new plant is expected to be completed in December 2018. The project is a turnkey contract and the value is expected to reach SEK 195 million excluding VAT.
