(PRESS RELEASE) ULM, 28-Apr-2026 — /EuropaWire/ — HENSOLDT is strengthening its operational footprint with the opening of a new office site in Ulm, reflecting the company’s ongoing growth and increasing demand for advanced sensor and defence technologies.

The new premises are located in the Energon office building on the Eselsberg, a modern facility constructed to passive house standards. Designed to accommodate more than 400 workstations across five floors, the building offers a contemporary working environment equipped with sustainable infrastructure, including advanced climate control systems and energy-efficient construction features.

The expansion comes as HENSOLDT navigates a period of significant transformation, driven by rapidly evolving markets and rising customer expectations. As demand for modern defence and sensor solutions continues to grow, the company is scaling its capabilities to ensure it can meet increasing requirements in terms of delivery, innovation, and operational performance.

The Energon site is part of a broader effort by HENSOLDT to enhance its capacity and develop future-ready infrastructure across its locations. By investing in new workspace concepts and expanding its physical footprint, the company aims to support its workforce while maintaining flexibility to adapt to ongoing industry changes.

Located in one of Ulm’s key development areas, the new office building combines functional design with sustainability, aligning with modern workplace standards and environmental considerations. The additional space will help accommodate growing teams and support collaboration across different business units.

With this move, HENSOLDT continues to reinforce its position in the defence technology sector while preparing for further expansion in response to global demand trends.
