(PRESS RELEASE)  ESPOO, 13-Feb-2024 — /EuropaWire/ — Metso Oyj (HEL: METSO), a leader in sustainable technologies, end-to-end solutions and services for aggregates, mining, metals refining and recycling industries, announces that it has clinched a significant contract to supply vital concentrator equipment for a prominent copper mining venture in Chile. The order, valued at approximately EUR 55 million, has been recorded in the Minerals segment’s first-quarter 2024 orders received.

Comprehensive Solution for Enhanced Operations:
Metso’s delivery encompasses a comprehensive suite of equipment tailored to optimize the mining operation’s efficiency. It includes high-capacity Nordberg® MP1250 secondary cone crushers, MF SeriesTM vibrating screens, and energy-efficient Vertimill® VTM1500 regrinding mills. Moreover, the flotation and separation circuit will be fortified with a range of TankCell® and ColumnCellTM flotation cells, featuring some of the industry’s largest 630 m³ TankCell® units. Additionally, the scope includes HCTTM High Compression tailing thickeners and four MHC hydrocyclone clusters, with two among the world’s largest. Most notably, these products are part of Metso’s Planet Positive offering, emphasizing sustainability and environmental responsibility.
