BASF to increase prices of products in its additives portfolio by up to 35 percent

(PRESS RELEASE) LUDWIGSHAFEN, 7-Mar-2022 — /EuropaWire/ — BASF (ETR: BAS), the world’s largest chemical producer, has announced price increase of antioxidants Irganox® 1076, Irganox® PS 802 and related blends in its additives portfolio for plastic applications by up to 35 percent. The price change takes effect immediately and impacts the company’s  markets worldwide.

The price adjustment is in response to the significantly higher cost for stearyl alcohol and logistics.
