(COMUNICATO STAMPA) MUNICH, 6-Sep-2022 — /EuropaWire/ — Siemens Mobility, che ridefinisce la mobilità con infrastrutture intelligenti, sostenibilità, esperienza e disponibilità dei passeggeri e una società gestita separatamente da Siemens AG, insieme a ÖBB (Österreichische Bundesbahnen), il sistema ferroviario nazionale di L’Austria e l’amministratore delle ferrovie del Liechtenstein hanno presentato la prossima generazione di carrozze letto e cuccette Nightjet presso lo stabilimento Siemens Mobility di Vienna. I treni ÖBB Nightjet di nuova generazione vantano un design moderno, un maggiore comfort e una maggiore privacy e circa 33 di loro sarà sui binari entro la fine del 2025, collegando le città europee durante la notte a velocità fino a 230 chilometri orari in modo rispettoso del clima con i primi treni che entreranno in servizio entro la fine dell’estate 2023 sulle rotte popolari da dall’Austria e dalla Germania all’Italia.

Gli interni dei Nightjet di nuova generazione offriranno agli ospiti una nuova esperienza di viaggio. Nightjet di nuova generazione distribuito in Europa
Un totale di 33 Nightjet di nuova generazione saranno costruiti nello stabilimento Siemens Mobility di Vienna. I primi treni dovrebbero essere impiegati entro la fine dell’estate 2023 per viaggiare in Italia, sulle rotte da Vienna e Monaco a Roma, Venezia e Milano. Entro il 2025, 33 Nightjet della prossima generazione saranno impiegati nei viaggi notturni in treno in Austria, Germania, Italia, Svizzera e Paesi Bassi, sostituendo la maggior parte dei treni esistenti.
Il nuovo comfort dei viaggi notturni in treno
I Nightjet a sette carrozze della prossima generazione sono composti ciascuno da due carrozze a sedere (carrozza di comando e carrozza multifunzione), tre carrozze a cuccette e due carrozze letto. La capacità massima per treno è di 254 passeggeri. Il layout unisce design all’avanguardia con maggiore comfort e spazio. Riducendo l’occupazione (scomparto per due persone nelle carrozze letto; scompartimento per quattro persone nelle carrozze cuccette) e le nuove mini cabine per chi viaggia da solo, ÖBB può soddisfare il desiderio degli ospiti di una maggiore privacy.
Viaggiare in vagone letto è ancora più comodo, poiché tutti i compartimenti hanno i propri servizi igienici e docce. Inoltre, i letti fissi aumentano il comfort durante il sonno e assicurano che i passeggeri raggiungano la loro destinazione riposati. Inoltre, un’accogliente dinette consente ai passeggeri, ad esempio, di rilassarsi e lavorare, leggere o mangiare durante il viaggio.
Nelle nuove mini cabine – le singole zone notte nelle carrozze cuccette – lo spazio compatto offre tutto il necessario per viaggiare indisturbati di notte: un’area di stivaggio, un tavolo per la colazione pieghevole e mobile con specchio integrato, ganci appendiabiti, luce di lettura e armadietti per i bagagli proprio accanto porta.
In futuro, l’auto multifunzione offrirà nuove e migliorate opzioni di trasporto: sei parcheggi per biciclette per tutti gli appassionati di ciclismo e più spazio per bagagli e attrezzatura da sci o da snowboard. Per viaggiare senza barriere architettoniche, ogni nuovo Nightjet avrà un moderno scomparto cuccetta accessibile e un bagno a cui è possibile accedere tramite l’ingresso a pavimento ribassato.
Innovazioni tecniche e funzionalità
I viaggiatori possono aspettarsi numerose innovazioni tecniche. Le nuove funzionalità a bordo includono la connessione Wi-Fi gratuita, che in precedenza era limitata ai Railjet e alle comode cuccette del Nightjet. Ora sarà disponibile per tutti i passeggeri della prossima generazione di treni notturni Nightjet. Chi vuole passare il tempo fino all’arrivo può utilizzare il portale di bordo ÖBB Railnet per navigare in Internet, guardare film e spettacoli in streaming e sfogliare la gamma di riviste e giornali gratuiti.
Un moderno sistema informativo per i passeggeri è stato integrato in tutte le auto e mantiene i viaggiatori sempre aggiornati con le informazioni aggiornate sul loro viaggio. Oltre alle tradizionali prese di corrente, il nuovo Nightjet offre anche opzioni di ricarica per una gamma di dispositivi elettronici tramite USB e stazioni di ricarica induttive. I nuovi vetri delle finestre che consentono il passaggio del segnale cellulare migliorano la funzione di rete e garantiscono una ricezione più stabile del telefono cellulare. Nei vani è presente anche un pannello di controllo con varie funzioni comfort come i comandi delle luci o un pulsante per chiamare il personale di bordo. Inoltre, gli scompartimenti sono dotati di un sistema di accesso elettronico che utilizza carte NFC e tutte le auto sono dotate di videosorveglianza per aiutare i passeggeri a sentirsi ancora più sicuri.
