(PRESS RELEASE) STOCKHOLM, 5-Mar-2026 — /EuropaWire/ — Skanska has completed the acquisition of a property on Bokserska Street in the Mokotów district of Warsaw, Poland, purchasing the site from the special purpose company Bokserska 64. The transaction is valued at PLN 163 million, equivalent to approximately SEK 410 million. The acquired site, which currently consists of industrial warehouse structures and office buildings, is planned to be redeveloped into a new residential complex featuring multi-family housing together with retail and service spaces.

The development site spans around three hectares and will be transformed into a residential neighborhood designed to accommodate approximately 750 apartments. In addition to residential units, the project will incorporate more than 1,000 square meters of commercial space located on the ground floors of the buildings. These retail and service areas are intended to support everyday needs for residents while also contributing to the vibrancy of the surrounding community.

The project will also emphasize green and open spaces within the development. Plans include landscaped outdoor areas as well as a publicly accessible park of approximately 650 square meters, which will be available to both residents of the new complex and people living in the surrounding neighborhood.

The redevelopment reflects Skanska’s strategy of transforming underutilized urban sites into modern residential environments that combine housing with amenities and accessible green space. By converting a site previously used for industrial and office purposes into a residential area, the project aims to contribute to the ongoing urban development of the Mokotów district.

Mokotów is among the largest and most desirable residential areas in Warsaw. The district is known for its mix of dense urban neighborhoods, green areas and historic villa developments, making it one of the city’s most sought-after locations for residential projects.

Through this acquisition and planned redevelopment, Skanska aims to deliver new housing capacity in a well-established Warsaw district while also integrating commercial services and community-oriented green areas within the project.
