(IN BRIEF) HENSOLDT has delivered the final components for the regeneration of the German Armed Forces’ Distributed Deployment Server Platform, concluding a modernization effort that began in September of the previous year. The deliveries included transport and operating containers, environmental control units, power modules, and core system hardware. The modular DSE system supports secure data processing for both standalone and networked military IT environments and has proven itself through global deployments since the early 2010s. In cooperation with BAAINBw, HENSOLDT has enhanced system performance, expanded capacity, and improved information security. The company continues to provide training and integration support to Bundeswehr personnel. With the completion of this project, the German Armed Forces now have an upgraded, resilient, and future-ready IT infrastructure for field operations.

(PRESS RELEASE) TAUFKIRCHEN, 2-Dec-2025 — /EuropaWire/ — HENSOLDT has completed the final phase of its contribution to the regeneration of the German Armed Forces’ mission-tested Distributed Deployment Server Platform (DSE), delivering the last batch of hardware components and systems. The handover marks the culmination of work that began in September of the previous year, including the supply of rugged transport and operations containers along with integrated power, climate-control modules, and essential equipment for the platform’s basic segments.

The Distributed Deployment Server Platform is a modular and scalable solution designed to support data processing across a wide range of client-server environments within the Bundeswehr. Engineered for both standalone (offline) and networked operations, the DSE provides all necessary services to run secure, mission-critical “back-office” IT functions. Depending on the operational scenario, the platform can be equipped with additional software tools to meet specific mission needs.

Since the early 2010s, the DSE has been deployed across nearly every climate zone around the world and has consistently demonstrated resilience in demanding environments. Over the years, HENSOLDT has supported the Bundeswehr with continuous system assistance, specialized training programs, and tailored equipment to ensure operational readiness. Working in close partnership with the Federal Office of Bundeswehr Equipment, Information Technology and In-Service Support (BAAINBw), both the scale and capabilities of the platform have been steadily expanded.

Central to the program are the robust server segments integrated into hardened transport and operation containers, enabling military personnel to set up secure IT infrastructure quickly and flexibly in the field. With a series of technical enhancements, HENSOLDT has further modernized the DSE, significantly boosting performance and advancing information-security standards. The company also provides customized training for Bundeswehr IT personnel, ensuring smooth system integration and long-term usability.

Through this regeneration initiative, HENSOLDT is supplying the German Armed Forces with an upgraded, flexible, and future-ready IT platform capable of supporting mission-critical operations well into the next decade.
