Hexagon AB’s Nomination Committee Announces Key Board Changes Ahead of AGM

(IN BRIEF) Hexagon AB’s Nomination Committee has proposed key changes to its Board of Directors ahead of the AGM on 5 May 2025. The proposals include electing Tomas Eliasson as a new independent board member and appointing Björn Rosengren as the new Vice Chairman, while noting that John Brandon and Brett Watson will not be available for re-election. Ola Rollén will continue as Chairman until the 2026 AGM, when he plans to step down.

(PRESS RELEASE) STOCKHOLM, 11-Mar-2025 — /EuropaWire/ —  Hexagon (STO: HEXA-B), a global leader in digital reality solutions, combining sensor, software and autonomous technologies, announces that its Nomination Committee has put forward a proposal to elect Tomas Eliasson as an independent member of the Board of Directors at the upcoming Annual General Meeting on 5 May 2025. Additionally, the Committee has noted that John Brandon will not be available for re-election to the Board in 2025.

Tomas Eliasson is set to bring his substantial financial and accounting expertise to Hexagon, having held CFO positions at companies including Seco Tools, Assa Abloy, Electrolux, and most recently, Sandvik. His academic credentials include a B.Sc in Business Administration and Economics from Uppsala University, and his leadership experience extends to board roles with Boliden, Elekta, Telia, and Millicom.

In a separate announcement, the Nomination Committee has also proposed the election of Mr. Björn Rosengren as the new Vice Chairman of the Board at the AGM. Ola Rollén will continue in his role as Chairman until the 2026 AGM, at which point he intends to step down, paving the way for Mr. Rosengren to assume the position. It was further disclosed that Brett Watson will not be available for re-election in 2025.
