Svensson will assume the role by 20 July 2025, taking over from Norbert Hanke, who will continue in his capacity as interim President and CEO until that time.

Svensson brings extensive leadership experience to Hexagon, most recently serving as President and CEO of Konecranes (Nasdaq Helsinki: KCR), a global leader in material handling solutions, since October 2022. His career also includes significant roles at Sandvik, where he held various leadership positions starting in 2008, with his most recent role as President of Sandvik Rock Processing Solutions. A Swedish citizen, Svensson holds a Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering.
