We would also like to congratulate Katharine, who is soon to celebrate five years at Savills, on her promotion. Our auction department has gone from strength-to-strength since it was founded over 20 years ago and is now a market-leading property auctioneer. Following a record year in 2022 and with continued momentum into 2023 seeing growth in turnover and market share, we are delighted to add skilled operators to meet exceptional levels of demand and ensure we continue to provide our clients with a best-in-class service.

Our live-stream format for conducting our sales online is proving to be a winning formula with both bidders and clients alike and has increased engagement from all over the world, allowing the department to achieve better results than ever. Our second May sale raised over £30m and saw healthy levels of interest despite the ongoing inflationary backdrop and we look forward to building on this success in the second half of the year with our expanded team.”
