Savills appointed its board director Jon Gardiner as head of office leasing for Central London markets

(PRESS RELEASE) LONDON, 16-Feb-2022 — /EuropaWire/ — Savills (LON: SVS), one of the world’s leading property advisors, has announced it appointed its UK board director Jon Gardiner as head of office leasing for Central London market, in effect from 1 April 2022. Jon will be working alongside Chairman of Central London leasing, Philip Pearce, as well as Savills long established leasing teams across Central London based in the City and West End.

Jon’s appointment is part of Savills Central London growth strategy, supporting clients in shaping this core global office market.  He will work alongside teams in tenant rep, capital markets and development as well as experts in ESG, flex, life sciences and property management.  Savills was joined by leading tenant rep expert Andrew Barnes from JLL last year, and will welcome renowned capital markets operator Richard Garside from CBRE later this year.

With over 20 years of office leasing experience, Jon has led the firm’s UK office occupational teams with particular expertise in the Greater London and South East region.   He has worked with owners, investors, developers and occupiers on strategy and execution in respect of acquisition, disposal, development and occupation of office space and development land.  Jon brings leadership to client’s real estate advisory teams, providing hands on advice from conception to project completion.

Andrew Willcock will take on the role from Jon as head of Greater London and South East team.  He has worked alongside Jon Gardiner since joining the company in 2003.
