Nordex to Supply SAB WindTeam with 91 MW of N163/6.X Turbines and Long-Term Service for Brandenburg Wind Farm

(IN BRIEF) Nordex has been contracted by SAB WindTeam to supply thirteen N163/6.X turbines (91 MW) with a 20-year Premium Service package for the Fretzdorfer Heide wind farm in Brandenburg; installation begins Q3 2026 and full commissioning is expected by spring 2027, reinforcing both companies’ dedication to Germany’s renewable-energy expansion.

(PRESS RELEASE) HAMBURG, 7-Jul-2025 — /EuropaWire/ — Nordex Group has secured an order from SAB WindTeam for thirteen N163/6.X turbines, delivering a combined capacity of 91 MW, accompanied by a 20-year Premium Service agreement. Each turbine, featuring a 164 m hub height, will be erected at the Fretzdorfer Heide site near Wittstock/Dosse in Brandenburg. Site preparation kicks off in the third quarter of 2026, with all turbines slated to begin full operation by spring 2027.
