(PRESS RELEASE) AMSTERDAM, 30-Sep-2024 — /EuropaWire/ — Leapmotor International, a joint venture between Stellantis and Leapmotor, has begun accepting orders for its affordable electric vehicles (EVs) across Europe, marking a significant milestone in expanding clean, cost-effective mobility. Stellantis dealers in select European countries will now offer two Leapmotor models: the T03, a compact city car, and the C10, a D-segment SUV. Deliveries are set to begin later this year.

Formed just under a year ago, Leapmotor International aims to scale global sales of high-tech, cost-efficient Chinese new energy vehicles (NEVs) outside of Greater China. Stellantis has invested €1.5 billion to acquire a 21% stake in Leapmotor as part of this strategic collaboration.

“This partnership gives European consumers access to cutting-edge, high-value electric technology with the support and service infrastructure of Stellantis,” said Stellantis CEO Carlos Tavares. “The collaboration with Leapmotor offers an exceptional customer experience, differentiating us from other Chinese automakers.”

Leapmotor, known for its focus on research, development, and vertical integration, aims to deliver high-quality, affordable electric mobility solutions globally.
