(PRESS RELEASE) SINGAPORE, 27-Jan-2026 — /EuropaWire/ — Henkel has strengthened its global innovation and supply chain footprint with the relocation of its Singapore operations to Geneo at Singapore Science Park, creating a next-generation hub designed to better serve customers across Asia-Pacific and worldwide. The move consolidates multiple strategic capabilities under one roof, reinforcing Singapore’s role as a critical centre for innovation, digitalisation, and supply chain excellence within Henkel’s global network.

The new hub brings together Henkel’s business operations alongside its Adhesives Technology Application Engineering Laboratory, the expanded Academy of Hair, the Global Supply Chain Hub, and the Adhesive Operations Digital Lab. By co-locating these functions, Henkel aims to accelerate collaboration, streamline decision-making, and speed up the journey from innovation to market across a wide range of industries.

Singapore’s position as a regional and global business hub underpins the strategic importance of the move. The country’s strong innovation ecosystem, advanced infrastructure, and access to skilled talent make it a natural base for Henkel’s ambitions in Asia-Pacific, while also supporting its global growth strategy across adhesives, electronics, digital operations, and consumer brands.

A key component of the expanded hub is the Henkel Southeast Asia Electronic Adhesives Technical Centre, which serves customers across Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Thailand. As the largest electronic adhesives application engineering laboratory in Southeast Asia, the centre supports key growth segments including semiconductors and consumer electronics. Its new facility offers advanced material characterisation, failure analysis, and the ability to replicate critical customer application processes such as dispensing, die attach, lamination, printing, and dicing, enabling faster and more representative testing.

While maintaining a strong application-engineering focus, the Technical Centre is expanding its involvement in advanced development projects and deepening collaboration with product development teams. This approach supports the introduction of new solutions tailored to regional needs, while also advancing Henkel’s sustainability ambitions through initiatives such as benchmarking PFAS alternatives, reducing nitrogen gas consumption, and improving water efficiency.

Henkel’s Consumer Brands business is also expanding its presence through the Academy of Hair, a modernised centre of excellence for professional hair education. The Academy offers hands-on training across colouring, cutting, styling, salon management, and content creation, supporting hair professionals at every stage of their careers. Its future-ready learning formats also create new opportunities for engagement with the wider hair community through events and collaborations.

In parallel, Henkel Singapore continues to play a central role as a global centre of excellence for supply chain management and Industry 4.0. Over the past decade, the Global Supply Chain Hub has harmonised planning and logistics processes, improved supply reliability, and driven productivity gains across Henkel’s global operations. The co-location of supply chain, digital, and application engineering teams at Singapore Science Park is expected to further enhance end-to-end collaboration, accelerate digital transformation, and deliver more integrated support for customers.

Building on more than 40 years of presence in Singapore, Henkel’s new hub positions the company to deepen partnerships, accelerate innovation, and advance more sustainable solutions for customers across Asia-Pacific and beyond.
