(PRESS RELEASE) FREDERIKSBERG, 19-Jun-2026 — /EuropaWire/ — STARK Group has been ranked first in Økonomisk Ugebrev’s annual Tax Governance Rating for large Danish companies, achieving the maximum score of 12 out of 12 points.

The annual rating assesses tax transparency and governance among 50 of Denmark’s largest listed and unlisted companies. It evaluates how openly companies disclose information about their tax affairs, tax policies and governance practices.

For STARK Group, the result marks the third time the company has secured first place in the ranking. It also represents the fourth consecutive year in which STARK Group has been placed among the top-rated companies.

The company said openness and transparency are central to the way it operates and form an important part of being a responsible corporate citizen. STARK Group actively provides information about its business activities, including its approach to taxation, as part of its broader commitment to accountability and trust.

Thomas Ahle, Group CFO at STARK Group, said the company operates in building materials distribution, but its long-term success depends on the trust of customers, colleagues and wider society. He said STARK Group believes a high level of openness strengthens confidence in the business, making transparency in tax matters a natural part of its approach.

A key element of STARK Group’s tax transparency is its annual Tax Impact Report. The report provides insight into the company’s total tax contribution across the markets in which it operates.

The report includes country-by-country information on tax payments, disclosure of activities in low-tax jurisdictions and an overview of tax incentives used across the business.

STARK Group has published a dedicated Tax Impact Report since 2022. The company said the report reflects its commitment to making tax information more accessible and supporting a clear view of its contribution across markets.

Through its first-place ranking in the Tax Governance Rating, STARK Group has received further recognition for its structured approach to tax governance, corporate transparency and responsible business conduct.
