Skanska signs EUR 29 million contract for the development of sports center and welfare building in Stavanger, Norway

(PRESS RELEASE) STOCKHOLM, 21-Dec-2022 — /EuropaWire/ — Skanska (STO: SKA-B), a world leading project development and construction group, has announced a new EUR 29 million (NOK 306 million / SEK 320 million) contract with the Student Welfare Organization in Stavanger, Norway for the development a sports center and a welfare building in the city. The new contract will be included in the company’s Nordic order bookings for the fourth quarter 2022.

The sports center is 4,300 square meters spread over two floors, while the welfare center consists of five floors with a total of 8,700 square meters. The project is aiming for Energy Class A certification.

Construction is expected to begin in the first quarter of 2023 and will be completed in the fourth quarter of 2024.
