Ramboll strengthens its global water team with the appointment of three skilled colleagues

(PRESS RELEASE) COPENHAGEN, 22-Mar-2021 — /EuropaWire/ — Ramboll marks the United Nations World Water Day by announcing the appointment of three highly experienced water professionals to its global water team: Michael van de Watering in Singapore, Dorthe Pinholt Hansen in Denmark and Cory Johnson in the US.

Today is the global World Water Day, and the United Nations encourages everybody around the world to share stories, thoughts and feelings about water. In Ramboll we feel a strong commitment to help our clients convert water challenges into opportunities for creating sustainable societies, and we are therefore very pleased to welcome our new skilled colleagues Michael, Dorthe and Cory in strategically important market-facing positions.

Michael van de Watering, Business Development Director, Ramboll Water Singapore

Based in Singapore, Michael is going to help develop Ramboll’s business within water infrastructure and climate adaptation in Southeast Asia. Ramboll has a growing group of climate adaptation and landscaping professionals present in Singapore which is collaborating closely with climate adaptation and water infrastructure specialists from the Nordics and in the US. Michael leaves a position as Senior Flood Risk/Coastal Development Advisor at Royal HaskoningDHV.

Dorthe Pinholt Hansen, Market Director, Ramboll Water Denmark

Arriving from a position as Market Manager for Utility Planning in Niras, Dorthe joined Ramboll as Market Director for Water in Denmark the 1st of January 2021. Dorthe is supporting the development of client relationships and services through her large network, innovative and engaging form of collaboration with clients and colleagues.

Cory Johnson, Drinking Water Practice Lead, Ramboll Water Americas

Cory has been with Jacobs/CH2M for his nearly 20-year career working primarily in water treatment, distribution and water reuse with a focus on membranes and high rate clarification technologies. His professional experience has spanned Florida, Texas and the Eastern US as well as the Middle East. As a new Drinking Water Practice Lead in Ramboll Water Americas Cory is going to support the development of client relationships and services within drinking water treatment and distribution systems.
