(PRESS RELEASE) MONTROUGE, 16-Jun-2023 — /EuropaWire/ — Credit Agricole Group (EPA: ACA), the world’s largest cooperative financial institution and France’s 2nd largest bank, announces that the Board of Directors of Crédit Agricole Payment Services (CAPS) appoins Philippe Marquetty as the Chief Executive Officer, effective June 16, 2023. Philippe Marquetty will also join the Management Committee of Crédit Agricole S.A.

Philippe Marquetty brings a wealth of experience to his new role. He began his career at the General Inspectorate of CIC and subsequently held management positions in various branches. In 2000, he joined Arthur Andersen, where he specialized in consulting for financial institutions. In 2006, he transitioned to Société Générale, where he served as the Head of Products and later as the Head of the Retail Customers Market. In 2012, he entered the payments sector, leading payment products and cash management for the Société Générale group in France and internationally. In 2018, he established and directed Société Générale’s Payments Department.

Philippe Marquetty is a graduate of the Institut Supérieur de Gestion, bringing a strong educational foundation to his leadership role at CAPS.
